Brain Tumor Simply Gone!
Article Written by Marie Williams
Donna Dixon Lessley has been a personal friend of mine for many years. After the death of her husband, Donna moved back to her home- town in California, met and married her present husband, Larry. It is a pleasure to write her story of praise.
In March of this year, I was diagnosed as having a brain tumor. MRI tests confirmed the diagnosis. The doctors opinion was frightening, and because it was such a rare kind of tumor, the doctor did not know of any treatment to recommend. He admitted that he was uncertain as to how to proceed, so he consulted with neurosurgeons in San Francisco. They had never seen a tumor like this either. They advised that surgery would be out of the question due to the location, and depth of the tumor within the brain.
Fear rose up in me after receiving all this information. God says we are not to fear. Fear usually demonstrates action, just as faith demonstrates action. God has said not to let any corrupt thing come out of your mouth. If it doesnt line up with His Word, then dont speak it. He didnt say that we wouldnt have fear, He said dont let it guide your actions.
I was tempted many times to express my fear, but that would be agreeing with what the devil had to say. God says, agree with MY Word, because His word does not return to Him void, and accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it. So, I called those things that are not as thought they were, I continually spoke, By His stripes, I was healed, therefore I AM healed. I didnt deny the existence of a tumor; I simple said what God says about me. I AM HEALED!!
During a service in my Church, my pastor spoke of an incident where Jesus had ministered healing to a group of people, and Jesus told them As you go
.. As the people went about their daily business of living, they believed what Jesus had just said to them. I grabbed that scripture as Gods promise to me. It helped keep my faith strong.
Over the next few months, the doctor had the MRI exams repeated to check on the progress. Each time the tumor appeared to be smaller in size. Finally, there was no evidence of a tumor at all. On Friday night, the doctor called me at home to tell me the good news. He said, I cant explain it, we all know what we saw, but its simply gone!
Yes, God is still healing today; Hes a miracle working God! I praise Him for His precious Son, and provisions made for my complete salvation.
